pendant is solid 10k yellow gold with enamel and a single pearl, chain is victorian era low karat gold (~8k-9k) with a newer vintage 10k clasp

in very good very antique condition

this feels like a tale of the form of a piece — a brooch — led to less frequent wear, which has had a protective effect over time. it waited a loooong time for the right chain to show up in the hands of an expert jeweler for it to be transformed into a necklace with the fob hook intact for pendant hanging possibilities 

heavy time-earned patina throughout the design details

some minor damage to the upper left most leaf, which is a slightly different hue — this might actually be an original manufacturing flaw, but it's hard to tell even with magnification

hook loop to hang a fob or pendant is sturdy and intact
