nothing quite like a pair of lotus-like shoulders framing a tall, ridged mesmerizing agate cabochon in a bezel setting to have you admiring a ring in any and all lighting. this ring feels very much like a wearable reminder that the earth is as magnificent as the milky way above. and how is it that a stone from below can mimic the swirls and hues of the milky way? magic

this ring was sourced very damaged and has been rehabbed, but she still has some time-earned quirks (ready below)

size 5.5
setting measures 26.6mm(!!) north/south on the finger
setting + stone rises up to ~7.25mm off the finger 
band tapers to ~1.9mm at the base of the band
weighs 2.71 (mostly from the stone)

C O N D I T I O N 

in good rehabbed antique condition (price reflects quirks)

-the ring was sourced with one shoulder detached from the setting and various kinks and bends throughout the very damaged band. a jeweler has reattached the shoulder and adjusted the band as best they could, and you'll notice:
-one shoulder has a sharper curve than the other, making setting seam off center (doesn't seem to impact how it looks when worn)
-a few minor kinks and bends throughout the band
-the band is slightly out of level in some places
-a few stubborn solder/patina spots on the underside of the stone's setting
-a few small dimples at the points of the bezel

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
