leave it to design minds of yesteryear to exquisitely craft a minimalist band with maximalist features. it's super skinny, but crafted with wide, flat angles throughout the band to prevent it from spinning on the finger, though this may have been a later modification.
this band was once a part of a wedding set, and you can see remnants of the lock mechanism beneath the center portion of the setting.
unlike many white gold settings, this isn't plated, it's a solid white gold segment of the ring, which means that if you have sensitivities to white gold then this ring might not be a perfect match
there's plenty of time-earned wear, which is reflected in the price (see photos and description below)

in good antique condition
-white gold setting does have some early cracks/losses, which are currently stable, but may need a laser solder repair sooner than later (price reflects this)
-wear along the sides of the band from years of rubbing against other rings
-diamonds are original antique single cut diamonds and free from damage, but will show surface wear under magnification
-the base of the band is VERY thin and slightly out-of-level. this band can be sized up by your jeweler (as much as 2 sizes and the jeweler could easily replace the thinnest parts of the band during a resizing)
-inconsistencies in surface finish at the base of the band from sizing/repair
-14k mark has nearly worn away
this is an antique item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
