this ring is a little bit of a mystery. reverse image searching across the world wide web revealed a few of these coming up for sale recently, all similarly in very good condition, none with provenance or a clue how old
it's in the style of a 1940s ring, but could be much more recent

setting measures ~9.5mm north/south of the finger and rises ~5.8mm off the finger
