this setting is so timeless and so reminiscent of current east/west navette designs that it's hard to know for sure if it's vintage. it's definitely estate (pre-loved) and it's a really wonderful geometric example of an east/west setting with a faceted marquise stone.

the citrine is pale and almost matches the hue of the gold, but the gold is slightly rosier

measures size 6 on a sizing mandrel, but there's a bit of space under the setting, which could lend itself to fitting slightly larger
setting measures ~5.6mm north/south on the finger and rises ~4.8mm off the finger
the band tapers to ~2mm at the narrowest point (base of the band)

in good vintage condition

-the setting is sturdy without being heavy and it has quite a few time-earned dents and dings
-citrine is free from damage, but will show minor surface wear with magnification
-citrine is fairly clear, but does have some natural inclusions
-prongs are tight around the stone, so there's no wiggle

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
