in good preloved condition
A: in good vintage condition cosplaying as a much older piece
B: was there always a little hole at the bottom? maybe! gold plating is nearly gone and there's a tiny bit of verdigris patina near the hole at the base of the pendant
C: the circle isn't a perfect circle and there's 50+ years of wear to the raised details
D: oh gosh. it had 100+ years of uneven patina mixed with old, stuck polishing compound, so we've stripped it mostly and it gets a chance to start over. the surface of each panel has heavy scratches
E: the bail is twisted, but sturdy, and it doesn't impact how it hangs, because it's a sphere. there's a faint solder seam around the equator of the sphere.
