this is a spectacular harder to find paperclip-esque trombone link chain with large, long links. the chain has been newly dressed up with a vintage carabiner style clasp that can double as a charm/pendant holder (there is no clasp in the 'back')

solid sterling silver (post in carabiner clasp is less pure and has a higher copper content)

C O N D I T I O N 

in good reworked vintage condition
-dulling luster from been stored with other silver for a long while
-modest, uneven patina
-jump ring between end cap and clasp is sturdy, but not soldered shut
-heavy dents dings and bends throughout the carabiner clasp, but it's sturdy and works well
-the post in the hinge mechanism on the carabiner has a high copper content

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
