reimagined, but not by us! but, we would have! this repousse signet's face was once a cufflink but long ago a jeweler expertly crafted a setting on which to mount it and it was done so well that it could fool you into thinking this was its original form
the repousse is in great condition and the diamond has a weirdo old cut, which hints it's likely the original stone for its setting. and, it's worth noting that this ring feels incredibly good on the finger, which isn't always the story when a setting has such ample finger coverage

-faint solder seam where the cufflink was added to the setting
-HEAVY time-earned patina on the underside of the cufflink visible via the under gallery of the setting
-diamond has quirky antique facets, which are neither level nor symmetrical
-heavy wear to the 14k mark
-scratching on the inside of the band near the setting, which appear to be in service of a previous very thorough acid testing to confirm gold solidity
-modest wear/softening to the raised design details
this is an antique item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
