C O N D I T I O N
in good re-worked vintage condition
the signet is sturdy, but it shows plenty of wear:
-heavy scratching and patina throughout the ring, less visible on the newly engraved signet face which has a shiny surface
-new patina added to the engraved design details to enhance the visual contrast and the patina has an extra brassy hue
-repousse design details on the shoulders have 100+ years of wear, but they're still visible and crisp for their age with the most wear where the details meet the plain band
-the new engraving is crisp and precise and was done by hand so it will have natural variations and it will soften as it rubs against other surfaces
-there's a visible, albeit faint, solder seam at the base of the band
this is a reworked antique item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
