reimagined A N T I Q U E // ups and downs / 10k double heron with diamond and pearl / a pendant from a stick pin

so much to say about herons and their elegance, and these two are an especially elegant pair. an antique stick pin that had been stashed in an antique shop for decades emerged so covered in time-earned patina that it was hard to see the design. alas, two magnificent birds are here to remind us of the ups and downs of it all and the treats we'll find at either height.

the stick pin has been converted to a pendant with a fixed bail and a jump ring bail

solid 10k yellow gold + seed pearl + diamond + the tiny eyes? hard to know if they're paste or stones, because they're so tiny

pendant without bails is ~20.5mm north/south
diamond's bezel setting is ~1.8mm across
seed pearl is ~2.1mm across
jump ring bail is not soldered shut and has a ~4.5mm inner diameter
weighs 1g

C O N D I T I O N 

in good reworked condition

-heavy time-earned patina, especially in the recessed details
-hue and luster inconsistencies on the back of the round pendant where the pin's hardware was removed
-jump ring bail has a few minor tool marks/dents
-diamond is an older cut and free from damage
-seed pearl is in exceptional condition for its age

this is a reworked vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
