reimagined A N T I Q U E // victorian roar / 10k rosy gold + diamond gargoyle lion face / a cufflink conversion pendant

this lion has had adventures. it was most recently sourced as a single damaged cufflink — missing its original diamond and the button stem was quite dented and damaged. a skilled jeweler has carefully transformed it into a pendant and in the process we separated the lion from the part of the cufflink that carried the 10k stamp

it's whimsical and gargoyle-like without being overly stylized

unmarked 10k rosy yellow gold + 14k jump ring bail + new sparkly diamond + red paste/glass eyes

M E A S U R E M E N T S 

lion face measures ~15.75mm north/south excluding bails
oval jump ring bail has a ~5.15mm x 3.35mm opening
diamond is ~2mm
weighs 1g (hollow)

C O N D I T I O N 

in good reworked antique condition

-the front of the lion's face has a fading high karat bloom finish, which is layered with decades of patina
-the back of the lion has a brushed/matte finish from where the cufflink hardware was removed, revealing the rosy base hue of the gold
-yes, the two small circles on the back of the pendant are holes revealing the lion's hollow form
-new diamond is free from wear and prong tips have been tuned up
-red paste/glass eyes are intact, amazingly
-new oval jump ring bail is not soldered shut, but it's a sturdy gauge

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
