a vintage flat tight curb chain has been modified to accept a playful costume metal/paint carabiner clasp mid-chain. the carabiner was 'borrowed' from a kid assortment of carabiners for lanyard crafts, so it's being thrown in gratis, since it doesn't have any real value.

curb chain is sterling silver, modified in SF with new oval jump rings mid-chain that are not soldered shut, but are sturdy enough gauge to support the carabiner and some pendants

for a pendant's bail to fit onto this carabiner the bail's opening must be at least ~3.8mm

in very good reworked vintage condition

-curb chain was sourced from a very long necklace, so it's been finished with a new clasp and jump rings in the back
-modest patina throughout the curb chain
-new carabiner clasp is costume jewelry — likely paint over mystery metal, but it's sturdy!

this is a reworked vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
