a true one of a kind lucky talisman

originally this ouija-reminiscent, almost-planchette-shaped lucky 13 was a quite old (antique?) fraternal pin with letters around the perimeter. with the help of a very skilled engraver the extra letters were removed and the surface was brought back to a shiny luster without damaging the enameling at the center. And then it was time for this tiny, one-of-a-kind to visit its next master jeweler: a jeweler who could remove the pin hardware and add a bail without exposing the enamel to heat.
'it's so small, why does it have a spicy price tag!?' The pin is old and rare, and then we've invested in having expert jewelers transform it into a pendant, and so part of this pendant's magic is that it's both old and new

new oval jump ring bail is not soldered shut and has a ~5.2mm x ~3.2mm opening
weighs 1.5g (it's small, but dense)
C O N D I T I O N
in good reworked very vintage condition
-there are slight variations in hue throughout this rosy gold piece thanks to solder seams with different alloys
-the cloisonne-style enamel is in great condition for its age, but where is minor surface wear
-new bails
-minor surface inconsistencies on the back of the pendant where the original pin hardware was removed
-original hallmarks and engraved initials have been preserved
-a faint hint of a high karat bloomed finish that's now long gone
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
