we got really lucky finding this spectacular blue mesmerizer and we might have been the only folks wild enough to take a chance on her the condition she was in. her band was majorly bent out of shape and damaged, which rendered her unwearable for some long period of time. her stone was so dirty that that at first we thought the stone was opaque. and, perhaps that era of disrepair also helped preserve her a bit, because she hadn't been worn in quite a while.
sold to us as aquamarine, which has been confirmed by our digital gem tester, but we don't claim to be able to determine between natural/lab stones, and we certainly don't grade stones. our eyeballs, however, know that she's something special and she catches and refracts the light dramatically.

in good vintage condition
-she's looking real good for 80+ years old
-modest wear to the engraved details on the shoulders
-heavy time-earned patina offering a deep brassy hue — polishing decisions are left to the next caretaker
-the band was sized down significantly to remove a large, damaged segment of the band, so there's now a small solder seam at the base of the band
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
