there's nothing quite like a mid century modernist design with hints of the space exploration vibes of the era — sleek lines, inviting angles, and stones set to remind us that we are on a floating rock in an infinite universe of magic.
this ring has been worn, loved, rehabbed, and in the process it lost its original hallmarks to time and repairs. while we suspect it was once marked 10k, it XRFs as 9k, so it was likely a story of underkarating.

in good vintage condition
-this is a ~70 year old ring and it has the wear to prove it:
-heavy wear to the while gold settings, which includes some minor voids from air pockets revealed where the white gold meets the yellow gold
-stones are free from chips/cracks, but will show minor surface wear under magnification
-settings around the stones were likely crisp and detailed with milgrain accents decades ago, but the settings have worn to almost flush settings
-heavy scratches, dents, dings, and patina throughout the ring — a jeweler could polish it, but that's a decision for the next caretaker
-sizing seams where the ring was re-banded below each shoulder (the base of the band is a replacement)
-missing hallmarks and karat marking
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
