this ring is likely mid century, and there's a chance it's a bit older as the hallmarks look like they're an older style and the split band shoulders have an art nouveau design
the carved faience scarab was/is a bead and has a figure carved on the underside, which is a bit of secret bonus symbolism and this bead is likely older than the setting
sourced 10k, but it's acid testing ~12k, which is nice + unglazed/unfinished carved faience — the hallmarks are very worn and maybe partially missing thanks to previous sizing/repair, so they no longer offer provenance or karat clues

-she's looking real good for 70+ years old
-faience may have some minor losses, but it's hard to know for sure since it was hand carved
-faience bead is held in place by a bezel setting, but it wasn't reinforced with epoxy, so there is a little bit of wiggle in the setting that makes noise as the bead moves in the setting when worn. some people opt to have a jeweler add a little epoxy or add prongs that extend into the bead's holes on either end of the setting — those options are left to the next caretaker if the wiggle bothers you
-ring was sized previously and there's a solder seam from that adventure
-hallmark and karat mark are almost gone thanks to time, repairs, and sizings
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
