in good vintage condition
-whyyyyyy do many Italian jewelry companies insist on plating silver with rhodium or platinum? yes, initially it offers a bright hue and shiny luster, but then it begins to fade unevenly, which is the case with this necklace. the uneven wear is most visible on the underside of the necklace, which has more contact with skin/clothes. there is no way to speed up the wear, so options are to let time do its thing, or to have it re-plated
-a few of the hollow links have minor dents and dings, including near the point of one of the center links
-this necklace was sourced full of decades of dirt and gross and it has been cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, but we can't promise we got it all — we really tried!
-clasp works well
-being sold as-is with fading plating on top of sterling silver
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
