were many of these made? yes! are many of them currently in circulating in wearable condition? kinda. these 1940s floral solitaire statement rings are the epitome of war-era optimism and play, in spite of it all. feel familiar? a wearable reminder of the magic of the natural world that's here to ground us in what could be.

this manifestation features a mesmerizing blue topaz in a bezel setting surrounded by white-gold-topped blooms. these were almost always made with a hollow form, as is this one, but they're sturdy enough to survive many many decades

in good vintage condition

-she's looking real good for 80 years old
-10k gold has heavy patina, especially throughout the recessed design elements/details. a jeweler could polish it to a bright hue and luster, but that decision is left to the next caretaker
-topaz stones does have wear and along the edges of its facets — please see photos
-band is thinner and does show hints of previous sizings and repairs
